It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, Sandie Freund. Sandie was the former owner of The Great Frame Up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and for so many people, she was the heart and soul of the shop from 1989–1999.
If you remember walking into the store during the “do it yourself” framing days, you surely remember Sandie—always welcoming everyone with a smile, encouragement, and kindness. She had a beautiful spirit, inside and out, and made every person feel comfortable and appreciated.
Sandie was personable, positive, graceful, and incredibly generous. Whether she was helping customers create something special, hosting friends, or simply sharing a conversation, she brought warmth and joy wherever she went. Her kindness and friendship touched so many lives, and her memory will forever remain a treasured part of The Great Frame Up family.
We are deeply grateful for the years, memories, laughter, and friendship we shared with her. She will always be remembered as the beautiful soul she was.
